Our work
Whether a product clears the bar — and how far above it.
Two products can both clear the bar while one goes well beyond it, and a binary label hides that difference. Tiers make stronger practice visible — and give companies a reason to keep improving after they qualify.
Meets all baseline requirements across applicable domains
Exceeds baseline requirements in at least 3 domains
Distinguished performance with independent validation
Exemplary across all 12 domains, peer reviewed
Certified is the baseline: meeting the requirements in every domain that applies to a product and its age bands. Silver, Gold, and Platinum recognize practice that goes further — up to Platinum’s bar of exemplary performance across all twelve domains, peer reviewed. The detailed scoring behind each tier is being drafted in the open by the working groups.
Tiers are not a ranking that can be bought. Certification is earned against the published framework, and membership or dues have no bearing on the outcome — the same independence rules that cap the technology industry at 3 of 23 board seats apply here.
